Bill Hicks - the final Letterman Show
...finally, the inexplicably cut appearance of Bill Hicks on David Letterman due to air in 1993, is HERE on MojoTV...
ON JANUARY 30th,2009, DAVID LETTERMAN HAD BILL HICK'S MOTHER MARY HICKS ON THE SHOW TO APOLOGIZE TO HER FOR DAVE CUTTING HIS ACT OUT OF THE SHOW THUS NOT ALLOWING IT TO AIR ON 10/93. HE BROUGHT HER ON THE SHOW TO SAY HE WAS SORRY AND SHOWED THE EDITED OUT STAND UP ROUTINE BY BILL FROM 10/93. HE FOUND OUT OVER THE COURSE OF TIME THAT WHAT HE DID (DAVE) CAUSED SORROW AND ANGER FROM THE HICKS FAMILY. DAVE CUT THE ROUTINE OUT BACK THEN SIMPLY BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT WAS TO CRUDE OR DANGEROUS FOR TV AND RUMOR ALSO HAD IT THAT THE JESUS BIT ALSO OFFENDED DAVID.
HE NOW ADMITS HE WAS WRONG AND SHOWED SOME CLASS TO BILL'S MOTHER.

...The show, which was produced by Saturday Night Live's executive producer Lorne Michaels, was based around the group's 15th anniversary, their new 15 Big Ones album, and the full time return of Brian Wilson to the group, kicking off the legendary "Brian's Back" publicity campaign.
The show's sketch in which Saturday Night Live's John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd pose as California Highway Patrolmen and force an overweight Brian out of bed to go surfing after issuing him a citation for failing to surf, has gone on to be one of rock and roll's greatest comedic moments. Later that year, photographer Annie Leibovitz used a photo of the bathrobed Brian holding a surfboard for an iconic cover of Rolling Stone.

Skateboard Kings - (1978)

..."Skateboard Kings" is a news documentary that was made by a British program called "The World About Us". This episode is about the Skateboard Kings of Southern California, and in particular riders such as the World Champion Tony Alva are featured in their daily lives and exploits in and around DOGTOWN. Ray Flores, Billy Yeron, Paul Constantineau, Jerry Valdez, Shogo Kubo, Kent Senatore, Ellen O'neil, Bob Mohr, Elen Berryman, Kim Cespedes and others. Russ Howell and Stacy Peralta are featured in a bizzare freestyle and safety demonstration. La Costa segment with Henry Hester, Bob Skolberg and John Hutson. There's visits to SkateBoarder Magazine, a few empty pools, a new skatepark, typical DogTown house party, demo's, a visit to the infamous Arizona Pipes, and a skate board manufacturer. This is a "cult classic" special that is hard to find, and here it is on MojoTV, aren't we good to you?...

...Fully Flared is a skateboarding video by Lakai, directed by Ty Evans, Spike Jonze and Cory Weincheque.
The video's release was postponed for about two years, mainly due to important team additions.[1][2] Overall it took about four years to make.[3][2]
Some team members had a lot of left over footage and are now planning to use it for other videos.[2][4] Most of the video was filmed with Sony DCR-VX1000 cameras and Panasonic HVX200 (which Ty Evans gained access to towards the end of filming) high-definition footage is used for second angles.[5]
Originally, Evans, Jonze and Howard played with different ideas which were all a lot more dangerous. The intro was then filmed 3 weeks before the premiere.[5]
According to Brandon Biebel, the most dangerous part of the introduction was Mike Mo Capaldi's "Switch Flip", down the staircase which was then exploded with a small portion of napalm. This explosion was expertly timed and carefully planned so that Mike Mo Capaldi was not in any danger of being hurt from the explosion itself, the danger was of falling debris...
